How to make the collar?

I am trying to knit something again. Now I am thinking of knitting a longer jumper. I want to knit a flower pattern,but I have a problem as I do not know how to make the collar. This is a big problem for me . I looked at two yarns:1.Sirdar NOVA Super Chunky and 2. Sirdar BREEZE
Finally I will knit BREEZE yarn because I think this is best.
